Frequently Asked Questions

What is your photography style?

I implement both Candid and Posed Photography styles in my work. This means that you will receive a great mix of different shots that represent the day as well as directed poses to ensure the best possible lighting and compositions! I am also known for my use of ‘forced candids’ - where I will give you a prompt and capture the raw excitement and emotion that comes after!

What is your editing style?

The majority of my photos are edited in a ‘Light and Airy’ style! I love bright and natural lighting, but I will certainly bring out a flash to make sure the party keeps on going even after the sun goes down!

Where will we go for UoL Graduation spots?

As a LivUni graduate, I know all the best spots for great pics! In the UoL Grad Photoshoots, I will typically take you to 3 or 4 locations, but ultimately its your choice on where you want to go! The main locations are Uni Sq (obvs!), Quad, Umbrellas, The Archway on Ashton St, Abercromby Sq, Metro Cathedral!

When will I get my photos?

After most shoots, I will get started on editing once I’m home. Usually for Grad and Couples Shoots the photos will be delivered around 48 hours later, more often than not it’ll be quicker! For Events and Student Formals, the photos will be delivered around 4-6 days after the shoot, due to the nature of the event and more photos to cull through! But again, it usually will be delivered way sooner :)

How will I get my photos?

  • For Graduations, Weddings and Portrait photoshoots, you will receive an invitation to a Pic-Time gallery, where you will be able to view all of the photos and buy any prints! Click here for a sneak peak of a few past galleries!

  • For Society Formals, and General Events, you will receive a Google Drive link with all of the photos attached!

There will be Download Instruction Guides for both systems for your convenience! (They are at the bottom of this page!)

What equipment do I use?

My current setup consists of the Nikon Z6ii and the mighty Tamron 35-150mm f/2-2.8! This covers everything I shoot from Events, Portraits and Couples perfectly, letting in lots of light and offering great flexibility! I have several years experience with Nikon cameras, starting with DSLR cameras before moving to crop sensor Sony and then Fujifilm mirrorless offerings. Whilst I love those systems, I was just missing those great colours Nikon are renowned for, so I went full out with the full frame Z6ii! I also own a DJI Mini 3 drone - which I am fully licensed to fly and have insurance covered!

Do you have liability insurance?

Absolutely! I always carry a valid Public Liability Insurance (PLI) certificate. If you or your venue needs a copy, please feel free to let me know!
